so tell me...

This blog is going to be pretty random as far as I can see at this point. I don't really know if there will be any organization to it, so we'll see what happens I guess. I'll probably just ramble about stuff I'm thinking about or things that have happened to me, or I might just make stuff up, I'm not really sure yet. So I hope I can keep it interesting, and I hope I can post new things somewhat regularly. Well anyways, enjoy!

Holiday shopping

So apparently we're getting close to Christmas. I still have yet to purchase all my presents for my family, but that is mostly due to the fact that finals are coming up and I have a feeling that I won't get done with all my shopping until I am actually done with finals. I absolutely hate shopping during Christmas time. It's not that I don't like giving my family gifts, it's more that there are 10 billion people no matter what store you go into. There have been a few occasions where I've passed the mall on my way home from class in the afternoon and it is always packed, no matter what time of day it is. Who could possible be in there? Don't people have jobs? Do people go to school anymore? Either people are skipping out of work or else I have greatly underestimated how many Moms there are in this city. It's just a little dumbfounding that places can be busy at all hours of the day. I think what I actually hate most is the parking. It is absolutely murder trying to find a spot let alone a spot that isn't a mile away. I'd almost rather just park on the outskirts of the lot rather than drive around for 15 minutes looking for a reasonable spot. I am extremely thankful for internet this year as I have done basically all of my shopping online up to this point. But I am quickly approaching the threshhold of which the items would not reach my house in time, so I will have to go out at some point. I did have mild luck earlier this month when I went to the mall at 8 on a weeknight, although I didn't find anything. It's sad when I have to base my luck on how busy the mall is instead of what I find. But it's definitely the truth. Well happy shopping to all of you out there and I hope you have better "luck" than I typically do...

You only have to buy gifts for like three people! No complaining. :)
