so tell me...

This blog is going to be pretty random as far as I can see at this point. I don't really know if there will be any organization to it, so we'll see what happens I guess. I'll probably just ramble about stuff I'm thinking about or things that have happened to me, or I might just make stuff up, I'm not really sure yet. So I hope I can keep it interesting, and I hope I can post new things somewhat regularly. Well anyways, enjoy!

Oh those days of my childhood

So, it has been a while since I last posted on here and I've actually been reprimanded for it by several people, so here we are. The main reason that I've not been on here in so long was because I've been on Christmas break and have therefore not been in situations where I have massive blocks of free time, but now that I'm back at school, I have so much more free time to work with (kind of weird how that works). This break has actually been kind of weird in that I've been reliving my past so to speak. I've just done and seen so many things that I haven't done or seen since I was a lot younger, but it was kind of fun to do some of those things again.

One of the major things that I did was play lots of piano. I don't know why I wanted to because I hated playing the piano when I was younger, but I wanted to and did nonetheless. I guess it is a lot more enjoyable when I get to choose how much I play rather than be forced to practice. Plus I got to pick which songs I played, so that helped out a lot. I feel that way on a lot of things in that I don't like things when I'm forced to do them, but if I get to choose when I do them and in what capacity I do them, I find those things to be quite enjoyable. I feel this way a lot with reading, which I also did quite a bit of. I haven't read fiction in a long, long time, but I have read through Sherlock Holmes and it has been quite enjoyable.

There was one night when my brother and I were at home and we found out that Mary Poppins was on T.V., so we watched the entire movie. We both loved that movie when we were little and were both really excited when we saw that it was on. The best part by far is when all the chimney sweepers are on top of the roof singing "Step In Time." I know you remember what I'm talking about, so don't deny it. It's just a great movie. Now that I'm on the topic of multimedia, one other thing I got to do was play Nintendo 64 a lot. I think I played Starfox the most, which is a great game. I found though that it is incredibly easy now that I'm older, I don't know why that is. But I could beat that game in 20 minutes now, not even joking. But yeah, I had forgotten how awesome the N64 really was.

Probably the highlight of my Christmas and the best present I received was a Lego Batmobile set. A Lego magazine had actually come to my house a few weeks earlier and both my brother and I saw the Batman Legos in there and thought they were amazingly awesome and wished that they had them when we were younger. Well my parents bought them for us anyways and we were both so excited when we unwrapped them. I wanted to stop everything right there and put it all together, but my mom made me wait until we were all done opening gifts. It's a pretty nice little Batmobile too. It has a cockpit that folds open, a nice little storage area for Batman's weapons and even has a huge missile that can launch off the front of the car. It really was rather exciting to put it all together.

Well, those are the main things that I did over break in terms of reliving my past. I know some or maybe even all of those sound pretty sad and might make me look somewhat like a loser, but I had fun. Well, back to reality. Fun, fun.
